They have Erich Fromm in Serbo-Croatian here. I would have taken a photo but the woman from the bookstore shooed me off the bench in front of the window. I guess she figures I’m not going to buy any books since I haven’t come in the bookstore. I think she must not be a booklover – she just works in this bookstore. If she loved books she wouldn’t tell someone they couldn’t sit on that bench. I don’t blame her – the economy is tough, and people have to take whatever job they can get.
What would it take to read Erich Fromm in Serbo-Croatian? I can read him in German, although it is work. What would it take to read Fromm in Lithuanian? I have no connection with Serbo-Croatian-Bosnian, though the idea of learning some of the language is appealing. I do have an interest in Lithuanian. What would it take to read Fromm in Lithuanian?
